In 2004 we began to look for ways to commuicate with our families and it was then that the Long Creek News was created.  On May 1, 2005 the Long Creek Cemetery Assocation put out its first volume of the Long Creek News.  Since that day there have been seven (7) Newsletters published full of history, stories, trivia, events and burials of Long Creek Cemetery and its families.  With an initial mailing list of about 100 the mailing list quickly grew and is currently well over 350 individuals.  Previously, the Long Creek News was being mailed to Missouri, Kansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma as well as a number of Texas cities outside of the Sunnyvale/Mesquite area.

Currently, due to the cost of postage and the cost of reproducing the Newsletter, I am in the process of making future Newsletters available online and by email.   If you would like to receive the Newsletter by email or if you have family stories or genealogy you would like to share with others please send your information or Newsletter request to longcreekcemetery@sbcglobal.net. 

Once the next issue of the Newsletter is available it will be posted on this website and emailed to those who have made a request via email.  Remember, if your email address should change please let me know.
