From as far back as the War of 1812 and as recent as the War in Iraq our families gave the ultimate sacrifice as they lost a loved one in their fight for our freedom.  Long Creek honored its Veterans with the raising of this permanent flag pole so that the memory of their service would never be forgotten.

During the year on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day small flags are placed on each of our known Veteran's graves and it is a sight to behold as you can view the great number of heros layed to rest within the Long Creek gates.

See our Veteran's Page for a detailed list.

Welcome to a New and Redesigned website!

This new sight has been launched to help our families get closer to the days of Long Creek and its families that can only be shared with the memories each of them hold.

This site was created in an effort to help our families with their Genealogical Research and also to pay our respected to our families of today.  Within these pages you will find a listing of Long Creek's current burials, as well as, an alphabetic listing of all "known" burials and all "known" Veterans.

In this website you will find Family Stories and Tributes, Obituaries, and the history of Long Creek Cemetery and the Long Creek Cemetery Association.  Visit this site to find out about planned gatherings for the Cemetery and/or Families and opportunities for you to become involved.  You will also find other useful information such as contact details, photo gallery, etc.

I will work to continuously keep updating this website with the latest information so that you are always up to date with all the information I might have to assist you in your research.

If you have any feedback on how we can make our new website better please do leave a message on our Guest Book as we would like to hear from you.
